In the initial planning stages of the Eastern Project, the preparatory group reached a cooperation agreement with the Joint Development Region Security Bureau. The Security Bureau agreed to send its most elite force, the 8th Squad of the Operations Department, to provide security for the preparatory group's operations in the United Territory in exchange for urgently needed foreign exchange. After the search for the "Legacy" officially began, the personnel of the 8th Squad of the Operations Department were formally incorporated into a search team under the Eastern Project, called the "Vostok-08 Squad," directly led by the head of the Eastern Project preparatory group, a former officer of the Primorsky Republic who was also a "warrant officer." The Cosmodrome Tactical Unit, under the Joint Development Region and Security Bureau's Operations Division, is primarily responsible for security and patrols at the Joint Development Region and Landing Zone. The squadron was once a lightly armed patrol force tasked with tasks including dissuading civilians who had strayed or pretended to stray onto the edge of the landing ground's restricted area, maintaining sentry posts at various entrance stations, dispersing protesters against noise, pollution, and danger of the landing zone, and apprehending thieves who had infiltrated the landing Zone to steal. These young ladies, revered as "princesses," are responsible for the ceremonial guard and security of the Republic's parliament and important departments in the capital, making them the most dazzling sight in the capital, Sejmpolis. However, due to their proximity to the political center and their ability to gather various kinds of information, the First Royal Guard is also a stage for the social interactions and maneuvering of the powerful and wealthy.
