"Republic of Ruvila"

The Republic of Ruvila is a nation established after the victory of the Ruvilian Revolution, supported by Earthlings. It inherited most of the former kingdom's territory, namely the Ruvila Plains, covered in grasslands and forests. Its southern border lies the Ruvila Sea. The country is divided into six provinces, one capital district, and the joint development territory. According to data from the 1990, the Republic of Ruvila had a total population of 5.07 million.
The Kingdom of Ruvila was once a nation comprised of numerous knightly lords. The knightly class considered all others, regardless of strength or wealth, to be equal.
All are equal; even the king is nothing more but one of the many knights. In the Republic, the sanctity of the Golden Constitution a collection of regulations from successive parliaments and kings is guaranteed, and the freedom and peace of the knights are established. The exhilaration sparked by the victory of the uprising, the advancements brought about by Earth technology, the demand for raw materials and the export of industrial goods resulting from the construction of the JDR brought the Republic unprecedented development and prosperity.

post-it:
The Golden Constitution states that "all knights are created equal."
So even the president has to polish his own armor?

Earth is not the true sacred moon, and Earthlings are certainly not gods. The Creator's abode lies in the vast universe, a fact that even Earthling science cannot disprove.

Local Customs and Traditions :
"Kingdom of Walentia"

The Walentia dynasty originated in the hills and basins north of the Ruvilan Plain and was the most enthusiastic dynasty in the history of the Ruvilan Kingdom in promoting a centralized system of government. With the help of the Tarab Order and a private army of mercenaries directly under the king, the Walentia kings continuously weakened the privileges of the knights, ultimately triggering the massive "Rogosh" the legitimate rebellion of the Knights' Council.
Due to Earth's interference, the Royalist army was ultimately defeated. The Knights' Council still allowed the Walentia family to legally possess knighthood.

Its ancestral homeland, a place of glorious rise for generations, was met with a royal family that never showed the same tolerance towards "rebels," thus the relationship between the kingdom and the republic remained strained for decades. Under the official propaganda of the Republic of Ruvila, "nuns" and "mercenaries" became synonymous with tyranny capable of silencing even the most distraught children. But even adults could see that a backward, conservative regime confined to a remote corner posed no real threat to the powerful civilization of Earth and the land of knights.

Do they still use crossbows?

The moon's gentle light falls upon the silver walls, and starlight glitters within the solemn grotto. On the king's wine-colored carpet, an everlasting grand feast unfolds daily.

Local Customs and Traditions :
"Zarab Mountains"

Standing at the easternmost point of the Ruvilian Plain, one can see the towering mountains standing like a wall before them. The ancient Ruvilian people generally regarded these snow-capped peaks as the edge of the world. Meanwhile, the legendary poems of the Samoyed people praising their ancient emperors depict a lush paradise behind the mountains, and indeed, Earth's satellites have discovered numerous green valleys and basins among the crisscrossing mountains and ravines of the Zarab region.
Just as Nox was once an unknown and mysterious place where humanity pinned its hopes, when the small land lost its mystery, the Zarab Mountains...
The idyllic paradise once again became a source of fantasy for many. In Vespuccia, there was a rather influential "charitable organization" called the "Adventists," who insisted that the "Guardians of Earth and Nox," appointed by the "Cosmic Federation" which ruled over thousands of planets and tens of thousands of spaceships, were hidden in Zarab, secretly protecting both worlds. Any Ruvilian knight with a modicum of common sense would probably laugh their heads off upon hearing this: they knew perfectly well that Zarab was still in a tribal state, and the only thing they could boast about was wine made from their native grapes.

Local Customs and Traditions :
"Joint Development Region"

In 1975, the Republic of Ruvila, established with the help of Earth, designated a piece of land at the mouth of the Motlava River on the northern shore of the Ruvilan Sea as a United territory to be jointly built by the Union, the Entent and the Republic, as a sign of respect for its allies. Legally speaking, the joint development Region also belongs to the Republic's territory and enjoys a high degree of autonomy, just like the various knightly territories within the Republic.
Today, most of the United Territory is built in a terrestrial style, with meticulously managed farms and ranches. These are operated by large corporations.
The industrial and mining towns, along with their supporting residential areas, are scattered throughout the area, protecting the United Territory's capital, Unity City.
According to 1990 data, the United Territory had a total population of 2.1 million, with 1.3 million residing in the capital, Unity City. Over two generations, Earth immigrants, locals of different races, and their mixed-race descendants lived harmoniously in this unique land of modern civilization on the Nox Planet.

Landing Field :
The landing site in the United Territory received the vast majority of personnel and supplies dropped from Earth. It was an open area surrounded by barbed wire, with soft soil suitable for the landing capsules to land.
Outside the barbed wire fence lies a restricted wasteland known as the "Landing Site Exterior Perimeter ." Because the landing capsule might deviate from its landing point and strike personnel within this zone, it is also off-limits to residents, just like the landing site itself.

Old town :
In the early 19th century, the Ruvilian people established a town called Salai within the present-day city of Unity. This town has since been preserved and renovated as a commercial and leisure area.
The dilapidated timber-framed and clay-walled houses were reinforced, the bumpy and rugged alleys were transformed into clean pedestrian streets, and the fortresses that protected the city and the stinking moat were renovated and dredged, turning them into beautiful riverside parks where citizens can take leisurely walks.

Gagarin Square :
Gagarin Square is the heart of Unity City. The Monument to the Conquerors of Space, which stands in the center of the square, represents the spirit of the city: striding forward and bravely climbing the path to space.

Unity City :
Unity City, the capital of the United Territory, is likely the largest city on Planet Nox. Earth's technology and Ruvila's culture are intertwined and blended in a race against time to build this city. The city is shaped by an ideal: in the not-too-distant future, the peoples of both planets will be united as brothers, without distinction.
