Personal Report

Suzana was the least visible member of KM Company's office in the United Territories, not entirely because she handled the "wet work" and needed to conceal her identity, but also because of her energy-saving lifestyle; she was unwilling to spend any time or energy maintaining a facade of social interaction.

Suzana had long ago set her sights on one goal: to survive and save enough money to retire as soon as possible. She had no fond memories of her tribe and was completely unmoved by the rosy future promised by Schmalkalden. However, she was grateful to the Pracht Organization for teaching her a way to make money. After years of training on Earth, she believed she had grasped the essence of Earth society: as long as you save enough money, you can live a happy and carefree life. Suzana's daily life was very disciplined; the Pracht Organization instructors praised her for having "Schmalkalden-like precision": sufficient sleep during the day, training and equipment maintenance at night, and a perfectly balanced diet.

A structured life is essential for conserving energy for the complexities of work: "company business" always presents obstacles, and those coveting the office's property and goods must be dealt with. Many commissions also come from clients: to prove KM Company's products are worth the price, Suzana must skillfully use various firearms to shoot through birds, armor, wild beasts, the apple on Tatyana's head, or even the skulls of the client's enemies. Suzana accepts all commissions with equanimity, carefully calculates the price for each step, and forbids bargaining; additional charges are required for unexpected situations.

Stella was naturally dissatisfied with such a less-than-ideal assistant—but she also had to admit that Suzana's fees were fair and reasonable, and her work was of high quality and quantity. Without her, many of the more physically demanding tasks would fall to Stella. Therefore, Stella paid close attention to the amount of money in Suzana's account—if it was too high, she would have brochures from Earth for selling beachfront villas and tropical islands, to inspire Suzana's new vision of a wonderful retirement, raise her savings goals, and motivate her to do more dirty and hard work.

The terms are clear: payment upon delivery, all transactions settled in business, I support the Earthlings' way—no favors owed, no need to rely on old relationships, and no need to rack my brains trying to guess the other party's motives. The problem is she only accepts VND(Vespuccian Pounds) and CSI Marks. If she could pay with estates and land, everything would be perfect… Perhaps we should list the Chaletovsky family's assets on the Earth's stock market.

For a while, Suzana ate nothing but dry, tasteless, unsweetened yogurt all day long; it was so hard it choked her like plaster. When Miss Stella found out, she ordered a lot of xylitol from Earth, and adding it did make the yogurt taste a bit better… But if you want something sugar-free yet sweet, the Union clearly sells saccharin, right?

Interviewee: Instructor at the Pracht Institute
Young people these days are really outrageous! They don't queue for the bus, they jaywalk, and they're always more than half an hour late for work. They've completely abandoned the fine tradition of obeying rules! — Suzana, the future of us Aryans depends on punctual young people like you!
