Personal History

The predecessor of the Schmalkalden Federation was a defeated nation in World War II. However, in the post-war period, to counter the Union, the Entent supported it in becoming an economic powerhouse and rebuilt its military-industrial complex. In terms of historical foundation, KM Company is far inferior to the many old military factories of the Union. However, in numerous firearms tenders for the Federal Armed Forces and even multinational forces, KM Company consistently topped the list. Contemporary analysts say that besides its innovative products and ability to cater to customer needs, KM Company's powerful sales tactics also played a crucial role and Stella is an excellent example of this.

As a Nox employee who had received comprehensive public relations training, Stella always maintained a perfectly measured elegance and tone, choosing the most pleasing approach based on the other party's attitude: flattery, sincerity, professionalism, or feigned reluctance. With Earthlings, she liked to gain sympathy by portraying herself as a vulnerable woman struggling alone in the world; with arrogant knights, she would appeal to their vanity by claiming to be a "representative of the noble Earth Company": when selling hunting rifles to spoiled brats, she would say she was only selling "exquisite toys", humbly referring to herself as a weak woman completely ignorant of warfare and with ambitious individuals, she would unabashedly confess that the company thrived on chaos to sell more weapons.

Her specialty was crafting elaborate sales pitches for different clients, each sounding like a heartfelt confession. However, one thing remained constant: her admiration for Schmalkalden's advanced technology and industrial style. KM Company's products were a given, but Schmalkalden's automobiles, machinery, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, education, law, philosophy... all were targets of Stella's enthusiastic promotion. And she found good excuses for doing so: thanks to Schmalkalden's nurturing, a wild child from a remote, isolated tribe like herself could enjoy her current comfortable and modern life.

KM Corporation's firearms are mostly expensive and in places the Union used to control where old Union firearms are everywhere like the Joint Development Region, it seems difficult for Entente weapons to gain a foothold in the market. However, Stella's main focus is on the high-end market: the elite class on Nox Planet has a luxury-like demand for high-end weaponry and they believe that it is not respectable for themselves and their entourage to use bulky and crude Union weapons.

Back in the United Territory, she was a warm and generous hostess, frequently inviting potential clients to her events. The Knight Lord was still not quite used to going to the mall, so Stella would go door-to-door to promote her products. The silver-tongued Stella was adept at explaining the added value of KM Company products. She skillfully and elegantly handled the firearms, making the finely crafted parts gleam with a crisp sound, her slender fingers lightly stroking the glossy surface, demonstrating how easy it was to handle, such explanations easily convinced customers that it was worth the price, although the high price often made them hesitate.

By selling arms, Stella built a stable clientele among the nobility. This allowed her to bring her "sales and after-sales service team" to their residences, learning about the military movements and high-level political secrets of the kingdom and the republic. This enabled her to fulfill the tasks of her other profession: espionage.

The Schmalkalden Federation has its own agenda independent of the Entente, the Pracht Agency has its own agenda independent of the federal government and Stella also has her own unique agenda. Seeking chaos where none exists, ostensibly to boost the arms trade, but in reality, she hopes to divert the attention of the hegemonic powers, giving the Schmalkalden Federation an opportunity to seize power. Cultivating a network of connections with the elite is not only to complete tasks assigned by the agency, but also for her own benefit, in a sense, for the benefit of her own people still struggling in impoverished mountain villages. The Federation once promised that one day, Stella's people would become a ruling group of a nation, like the knights now. Stella's thought is that knights rule the common people, but who will rule the knights?

Personal Report

"In terms of historical heritage, The KM Company is far inferior to many old military factories, but in the firearms tenders of the Schmalkalden Defence Force and even multinational forces,The KM Company has always been the leader. Contemporary analysts say that in addition to the innovative products and the ability to cater to customer needs, KM Company's powerful sales campaign has also played a significant role, and Stella is such a marketing expert."

As the head of KM Corporation's agency on Nox, Stella always maintained a perfectly measured elegance and tone, choosing the most pleasing approach based on the other party's attitude: flattery, sincerity, professionalism, or a push-and-pull approach. However, one thing remained constant: her admiration for Schmalkalden's advanced technology and industrial style. Schmalkalden's automobiles, machinery, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, education, law, philosophy… all were objects of Stella's enthusiastic promotion. After all, it was thanks to Schmalkalden's nurturing that she, a wild child from the remote mountains of Samoyed, was able to enjoy her current comfortable and modern life.

For the commanders of the Republic, mass-produced goods were simply not prestigious enough. Stella recognized this, which allowed her to open up the market for the expensive KM products. Since the knights and lords were reluctant to go shopping, Stella, along with her sales and after-sales service team, visited the commanders' mansions and hunting lodges to promote her products. She skillfully and elegantly made the parts whirr and click, her slender fingers lightly stroking the glossy surface, demonstrating how easy it was to operate—and the military developments and political secrets casually discussed by the nobles naturally reached her ears.

As a defeated nation in the World Wars, the nation of Schmalkalden, unable to openly participate in the space race, also eagerly desired to exert influence on the planet Nox. The Defense Intelligence Agency—also known as the "Pracht Agency"—actively engaged in "aid" and "communication" work with the Samoyed people scattered across the Ruvira and Zarab regions, hoping to one day support a new pro-Schmalkalden regime. Stella's superiors assured her that sooner or later she would become part of the ruling class of the new nation. However, as a diligent student of the Pracht Agency, Stella knew very well that promises from those in power could not be entirely relied upon; both the new regime and she herself needed additional allies…

Stella! I can't take this anymore! What's with these messy accounts? What exactly is this "special hospitality expense"?! You're using guests as a shield again! No way, you're going to explain these strange expenses to me today!

Hehe, I'm the top salesperson at the agency again this year! But that's because Miss Stella always attributes her sales performance to me... Isn't that a bit unfair? If she doesn't have any sales, won't Miss Stella lose face in front of her superiors?

Interviewee: Lida
The stuff from that Kaputt and Malfunctions is so expensive, we can't afford it at all... But even if my brother doesn't buy anything, Stella always invites him to tea or banquets, saying he's her most important VIP client! — Stella is so generous, I wish I could go and eat and drink for free too!
