Personal History

       A loli-figured girl who feigns composure and cunning, prone to grandiloquent claims, styling herself "General Ruby". She asserts that in a past life she was a great commander and having inherited those memories, she possesses innate mastery of military science. When making decisions, she cites her past-life recollections as justification. In truth, all her military knowledge, be it sniping techniques or command and management methods, is gleaned from cartoons and films. Her current demeanour mimics cinematic generals, including addressing herself in the third person and holding lollipops as if they were cigars.

       Being still rather childish, She easily reveal her true colours when faced with temptations (such as sweets) and prone to impatience in situations. Yet after such lapses, she swiftly recalls his role as a renowned commander, resolving issues with a leader's sense of justice, for instance, establishing fundamental duty divisions within the group. By instilling responsibility and pride through delegated authority, she encourages self-management among her companions, entrusting Tiko with safeguarding cash and supplies. When energised, they possess boundless vitality, yet grow drowsy once the momentum wanes, relying on the trust and protection of their companions.

       Ruby hailed from an orphanage in a border city of the Republic of Ruvila. During the space race development era, this city garnered particular attention due to its abundant rare earth mineral deposits. However, following the dissolution of the unnion, the industrial upgrading programme jointly pursued by the Union Territories and the Republic came to a halt. Consequently, the city's municipal services deteriorated and the orphanage soon declined to the point where even three meals a day could not be reliably provided. At this juncture, the bold Ruby, along with her childhood friends Meimei, Tiko and murphy, ventured out into the wider world to seek their fortunes.

       The diminutive Ruby, possessing the sharpest mind, was universally acknowledged as the leader of the small group. As the nursery staff had repeatedly mentioned "Earth's sponsorship", the orphans naturally assumed Earthlings were the wealthiest and that the means to earn money lay, of course, in seeking out the United Territories.

       This band of daring orphans soon stumbled upon a "treasure trove" in the United Territories, a hoard of obsolete military supplies abandoned by retreating Union forces. Ruby's mind whirled and she swiftly conceived a scheme to turn it into a money-making venture. Drawing upon her fragmentary military knowledge, Ruby guided her companions in equipping themselves from head to toe. She established the squad's management structure and division of responsibilities, then proclaimed them a "well-trained mercenary group". They proceeded to peddle their "bodyguard services" to Earthlings newly arrived in the United Territories.

       Upon arriving in the United Territories, Karula, exhausted from being milked dry by Earth's conglomerates, immediately took a shine to this band of headstrong little "mercenaries". She promptly hired them as her personal bodyguards. Whether Karula actually needed bodyguards, well, that was another matter entirely.

Personal Report

       Ruby is the commander and sharpshooter of the Pioneer Service Group squad. When referring to herself, she uses the third person, calling herself "General Ruby." The reason is that she believes a great commander’s reincarnated soul resides within her body, granting her the memories of her past life — traversing mountains, crossing deserts, leading vast armies, and shattering enemy formations in epic battles.

       Before becoming the renowned "General Ruby," she was just like the other squad members — a child growing up in an orphanage affiliated with a coal mine in the border region of Ruvila. Due to her innate sharpness and focus, Ruby became exceptionally skilled at deciphering the dramatic portrayals of war movies, understanding the authentic art of command and military science depicted within — and, incidentally, mimicking the style and heroic declarations of various famous generals. All of this blended into what she calls her "memories of a past life."

        After the space race ended, the coal mine, worn out and dilapidated, was forced to shut down, leaving the orphanage in dire straits, struggling to provide meals. Instead of resigning to fate, Ruby, always quick-witted, came up with an idea — head to the United Territory. Since most donations to the orphanage had come from Earth, why not seek refuge among the wealthy Earthlings?

       During their adventurous hiking trip across the wasteland, the four-member group stumbled upon a military supply depot abandoned by the evacuated Nox Joint Union troops. The children who had initially left the orphanage in tears arrived at Unity City as armed mercenaries. Ruby firmly established herself and her comrades on this war-torn land, making a living by offering "security services" to the Earth travelers who arrived at Nox by rocket.

       Despite her penchant for grand statements, rough demeanor, and tendency to be distracted by desserts displayed in shop windows — characteristics that might seem immature to adults — Ruby consistently governs her squad with fairness and discipline. She assigns roles thoughtfully, maximizes the use of resources, and always finds the most suitable tasks for herself and her comrades. Even in perilous situations, she exudes the demeanor of a great general, inspiring those around her.

       "After every lunch, there must be ant nest cake." In a sweet dream, General Ruby issued her latest command.
