Personal History & Personal Report

Marta is the sole human in the office and the only member not assigned to intelligence gathering duties. Her role involves managing the office finances and overseeing expenditure by other personnel.

Marta hailed from an ordinary family in Schmalkalden, dreaming of becoming an elegant lady running a small shop and living a life of modest contentment. However, constrained by her family circumstances and academic performance, Marta could only pursue the necessary financial education through the Federal Defence Forces Accounting School. Upon graduation, Marta was obliged to accept her assignment, committing to at least four years of service with the Defence Force. Little did she anticipate that her posting would involve being deployed to another planet for duty.

Having grown accustomed to a life of modern conveniences, a society governed by strict order and a market brimming with diverse products, Nox found her new existence utterly unsettling. She yearned intensely for the dazzling array of shops in her hometown city and the exquisite Black Forest cakes from the patisseries....

Yet what she found most intolerable were the female spies' chaotic accounts. Purchases lacked invoices or receipts, deposits lacked proper documentation and after a year's toil, the justification for substantial expenditures was merely two words: "special expenses". This was an affront to Marta's financial training. Consequently, to others, she appeared perpetually stern, nitpicking over every penny spent.

To be fair, carrying out missions on Nox, selling arms, gathering intelligence, didn't allow one to stick rigidly to Earth's rules. But the consequences of muddled accounts meant Marta might get caught in the crossfire, which she couldn't bear, so she always refused to sign. Yet compared to seasoned spies with professional training, Marta remained far too naive: A few smooth words from Stella, or a tearful plea from Tatyana and Marta would lose her resolve, her heart softening and she'd obediently climb aboard the ship of thieves. No matter how much this inexperienced newcomer tried to project an image of impartial professionalism, at her core she remained a kind, simple and dreamy young woman.

The "Pink Passionate Catgirl Maid Jokera" on this bill is a gift for the Takhilar tribe! The tribal elders say this figurine depicts their ancestral goddess of fertility, and they want one placed on the altar of every clan... In short, I need to give this to get permission to enter their sacred ground; it's a necessary expense for fieldwork!

Interviewee: Larida
A contract? There's no problem with the contract! When is the "technical service fee" to be paid? Oh dear, that involves the business characteristics of the Golden Fleece Chamber of Commerce. For those of us in the primary industry, cash flow is very slow! We can only come up with cash after the cows have run out of milk, the sheep have been sheared, and the autumn apples have been harvested…

Yeah, yeah, come find me! Leave it to me! I'll have Uncle Singh set up a company for you in the Western Burdas of the Riga Islands, hundreds of millions if you want! Nobody knows better than me in this area. I'll give you a discount, I'll only take 3%, and Uncle Singh's... um, under what pretext? Liquefied natural gas! ...Schmalkalden bans the import of liquefied natural gas? Doesn't comply with environmental policies? Then it'll be gutter oil!
