Personal History
Gabrielle was born into a southern cotton-farming family with six siblings. In her memory, the times described by her elders grew increasingly bleak: water shortages, oil crises, falling cotton prices, black riots...all those new things being hyped up out there, Nox development, computer technology, the internet, financial innovation... none of it had anything to do with them.
Despite breaking with tradition, Gabrielle chose the path of enlisting in the military. Her impoverished upbringing had left her afflicted with severe hoarding tendencies: she felt compelled to carry everything she saw, convinced it might prove useful someday. Her large rucksack was crammed with all manner of odds and ends, some discarded by other members of the mission. Jacqueline naturally disliked her soldiers carrying excessive extra weight, but Gabrielle's thriftiness seemed to have become a kind of dogma. Her mantra was "It would be God's punishment...", the very thought of discarding anything felt like a sin.
Gabrielle was trained by the Marines to become a marksman, a skill demanding patience and resilience that suited her hardworking nature. She always obeyed orders absolutely, a commendable quality for any soldier. Yet her inferiority complex often held her back on the battlefield. Bella frequently encouraged her to "establish cognitive superiority, overwhelming the enemy through knowledge, control and systems", essentially meaning "face any adversary with courage". Yet such jargon proved difficult for Gabrielle, whose limited education made her feel increasingly awkward and inferior under Bella's enthusiastic guidance.
Despite her best efforts to conceal it, her colleagues soon realised Gabrielle was from Alabama, her thick accent giving her away. When the conversation turned to Southern cuisine in search of a topic, they discovered Gabrielle had never actually tasted these dishes. Her notion of Southern delicacies mirrored the stereotypical image of African-American food: fried chicken and watermelon, that sort of thing. Thus, within the mission, Gabrielle alone genuinely regarded Manpreti's curry concoction as a delicacy, she had never before encountered such richly flavoured cuisine. Though Manpreti often shared food with her, he never offered the truly exquisite dishes, after all, a merchant's fundamental skill lies in managing customers' expectations.
Manpreti soon discovered that this insecure soldier proved an exceptionally cheap labourer, requiring only the most trivial material incentives to secure her enthusiastic service. However, Manpreti was not the only one who, consciously or unconsciously, treated Gabrielle as a tool. Jacqueline was consumed by a fierce competitive spirit, Bella was particularly keen to validate her own combat theories and even Helen would unconsciously put her to work, whether it was Jacqueline's charisma, Manpreti's material rewards, Helen's warmth, or Bella's elaborate theories...all seemed to make it difficult for her to refuse.
Personal Report
Gabrielle, a hardworking and resilient sharpshooter in the Vespuccian Marine Corps,She is prone to subservience due to her low self-esteem. While obedience is a commendable quality for a soldier, her inferiority complex often hinders her performance on the battlefield. Her superiors and comrades try to encourage her, but their words are difficult for the less educated Gabrielle to understand, and their enthusiasm only makes her feel more uneasy.

Manprit, a supplier for the Ruvilian Mission, quickly discovered that this self-conscious soldier was exceptionally cheap labor; a small material reward was all it took to secure her enthusiastic service. However, Manprit wasn't the only one intentionally or unintentionally using Gabrielle as a tool. The mission commanders were either driven by competitiveness or eager to test their own operational theories… This ordinary Marine's journey to Nox was destined to be fraught with difficulties.

This child is really not cut out to be a soldier. She's so good at enduring hardship, she should go to a temple to become an ascetic, accumulate good karma, and be reborn in Vespuccia in her next life... Oh dear, I almost forgot that she's already a Vespuccian.
Interviewee: Helen
Gabrielle seems to have a sensitive stomach; she never touches anything at the buffet except fried chicken and watermelon. Sigh, not eating properly will definitely make her lifeless!
Interviewee: Sergeant of the Special Mission
Major Jacqueline used to put out snacks for us in the break room, but she stopped doing that. It's because one time there was a box of brightly colored crayons on the table, and Sergeant Gabrielle thought they were candy, so…
