Personal History
Eighth Squad serves as the spearhead of the United Territory Security Bureau, with Claudia forming its cutting edge. She is a cool-headed, decisive sniper of the highest calibre, a master of stealth surveillance, and a skilled practitioner of close-quarters combat (though rarely deployed in such roles). Possessing a composed temperament and exceptional patience, Claudia excels in observation and analysis. She maintains constant vigilance, adept at detecting potential threats.
Claudia seldom revealed her thoughts or emotions, always obeying Elena's commands and acting according to the established plan. Yet when given the chance to decide for herself, she would choose nothing short of eliminating evil without mercy, once a target was marked, survival was impossible. Neither surrender nor pleas for mercy could sway her. Claudia seemed convinced that given sufficient time, she could eliminate every villain across both planets, one by one.
Claudia's own performance was beyond reproach and she held her teammates to equally high standards. In terms of professional calibre, only the other four members of Squad Eight were partners she could truly collaborate with. Within the team, she would not tolerate any sign of hesitation or weakness from herself and the only other person capable of maintaining such discipline was Commander Elena. Whether military contractors, constables, collaborating defence forces, or other colleagues from the Security Bureau, she regarded them all as overly amateurish, though tolerable, provided they wisely supported the professionals (namely Squad Eight) in executing critical missions without getting in the way.
Claudia was the squad's most experienced military member: born into a family of agricultural technicians in the United Territories, she was selected for the Union's cadet academy during secondary school, bidding farewell to her parents and relatives to receive military training on Earth. There she learned the soldier's duty and loyalty to her homeland. Due to her outstanding performance, she was earmarked for assignment to the Signal Flag Special Forces even before graduation (meaning she was a junior cadet to Warrant Officer, and would have been a junior soldier to him too). However, the outbreak of the Union Civil War disrupted all this.
The cadet academy swiftly mobilised, with instructors informing pupils they could either return home or “fight for the motherland”. Few chose to leave, all sincerely wished to shed blood for their country. Yet where should this youthful loyalty be directed? Who truly held legitimate claim to the Union's succession? Who possessed the right to overthrow its tyranny?
Claudia endured the trials of battle, famine and plague, but what pained her most were the senseless sacrifices. Her discontent finally erupted after a disastrous engagement: bandits seizing the chaos had taken a boarding school hostage. Multiple units, including Claudia's, were dispatched for the rescue. Yet command confusion and logistical chaos turned the operation into a chaotic free-for-all of crossfire. Claudia took down enemy after enemy, yet those children, scarcely younger than herself, still fell one by one, moaning.
The rescue concluded, the school now a ruin, the bodies of soldiers, bandits and children piled in tangled heaps. Claudia's sister had not been spared either, like her elder sister, she too had been selected for education on Earth. Seeing her sister's half-charred remains, Claudia's mind went blank. Duty and loyalty no longer mattered. Her homeland had ceased to exist. Her only solace lay in the home on another planet, the family on another planet, who might yet tell her in person: it was not her fault she had failed to protect her sister.
Yet her homeland was equally in disarray. With the space race concluded, the organisation employing her parents had been disbanded, its offices deserted. Their names did not appear on the passenger manifest for Earth's return voyage. After much enquiry, Claudia learned that numerous Earthlings had been recruited by the Republic, though their precise whereabouts remained difficult to trace...
Claudia had no other means of survival, Elena, who was reorganising the 8th Squad, found this skilled warrior and earned her trust through her own competence and professionalism. Claudia believed Elena was the commander who could protect both comrades and civilians. Under her leadership, Claudia fought meticulously to eliminate chaos and violence, maintaining peace and stability. She still hoped to one day reunite with her loved ones on a Nox planet that had become a better place...
Personal Report
Claudia is the sniper of the 8th Squad, its cutting edge. A highly professional sharpshooter, she is a master of surveillance, stealth, and close combat. Calm, patient, and analytical, she’s earned Elena’s trust as a reliable backup commander. Claudia rarely expresses personal thoughts or emotions. She strictly follows orders and adheres to mission plans. But if granted decision-making authority, she’ll choose to eliminate evil at its root—once she locks onto a target, survival becomes virtually impossible. To her, given enough time, every villain can be taken down—one bullet at a time.
Claudia holds herself to high standards and allows no signs of hesitation or weakness. She holds others to the same level of discipline. Whether military contractors, Ruvila Defense Forces, or fellow officers in the Security Bureau, Claudia generally considers them amateurish—but so long as they stay out of the way and let the professionals handle the critical parts of the mission, she’s willing to tolerate them.
In terms of military experience, Claudia is the most seasoned member of the 8th Squad. She was born into an agricultural technician family in the Joint Development Zone. In secondary school, she was selected for further education on Earth, entering the Izyum Suvorov Military School, then attending the Border Guard Academy. Due to her outstanding performance, she was on track for recruitment into the elite Vympel Unit.
However, the outbreak of the Union Civil War shattered that path. Instructors told cadets they could choose to return home—or “fight for their homeland.” Most, filled with patriotic zeal, chose the latter. But they were soon faced with a bitter question: Whose cause is truly just? Who is the rightful successor of the Union or the one worthy of overthrowing its tyranny?
Claudia survived the war and returned to the Joint Development Zone, only to find her homeland in turmoil as well. The institution where her parents worked had been dissolved, its buildings abandoned. Their names weren’t listed among those who returned from Earth. Claudia eventually learned that many had gone to serve the Republic's lords to make a living—but tracing their exact whereabouts was near impossible...
It was during the reformation of the 8th Squad that Elena found this skilled warrior. Claudia earned her trust through unwavering professionalism and precision. Under Elena’s command, she fights with absolute dedication. She holds onto the hope that someday, she’ll reunite with her family—on a better, more peaceful Nox Planet.
